Game Overview:

     Welcome to Coup the Joker! The card game where the Joker becomes the ultimate fighter as he battles his way up the castle and through its defenses. In each game, one player will be the Red Castle (the hearts and diamonds) and the other player will be the Black Castle (the spades and clubs). The Kings, Queens, and Jacks are the royal members you will fight, with each floor belonging to a different rank. Each floor contains two of each royal member, both must be defeated before moving your Joker up a level. As added defenses, each castle also has two shields (the aces!) giving the players the chance to block attacks.

     Attacks happen when your soldiers (the numbered cards) battle, the highest number wins that battle. Winning the battle means you get to use your Joker and attack the opponent’s castle! A royal member is either defeated and removed, or a shield battle happens, and the dice decide the winner. The player whose Joker makes it to the top of the castle and defeats the Kings wins, the castle is yours, huzzah!
