Rocket Whale Games

     Hello, and welcome to my page! My name is Skylar, and I created Rocket Whale Games so I would have a space to upload the games I create, and share them with all of you! The games I create right now are for my Intro to Game Programing course that I am enrolled in at the University of Tulsa, where I am a student of Computer Simulation and Game Design. The games I post here will show what I am learning during my course and how well I understand the tools we are using.

      Being a CSG Design major, my dream is to one day work for an indie studio. Working for a game development studio that gets to build a game from the ground up has been what I wanted to do since I could navigate a computer. I enjoy emotionally driven storylines, like Life is Strange and Bioshock, and that is what I want to create and work on. I want to make games that have a deep story, that allows the players to make choices that affect the outcome of the storyline itself, and that pull at a player's emotions. I also want to focus on accessible games and gameplay options for everyone. Recent years have proven that we have the technology that makes accessible gaming possible, and I want to make it a more known practice in game development.
